Cristiano Ronaldo has not been named to starting line-up ahead of Manchester United‘s match day-3 clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford.
During the pre-game training session, Ronaldo greeted Sky Sports analysts and former Manchester United players Gary Neville and Roy Keane and David Jones(who is currently a presenter at Sky Sports) whilst completely ignoring Jamie Carragher during that time. Carragher is a former Liverpool player who played his entire football career for the Merseyside team.

Fans had funny reactions to the clip. Yannick Bolasie, who last played for Aston Villa in 2019 on loan from Everton, reacted by saying, “Why did Ron do Carra like that man.”

Other Twitter users also chimed into this conversation. One Twitter user said that ‘Carragher has ran his mouth about Ronaldo ever since he returned. Calling him a problem etc. So he shouldn’t expect Ronaldo to acknowledge him.’
Another user mentioned that,’ Maturity would have been Ronaldo acknowledging Carragher. He would have owned Carragher by greeting him to show his comments didn’t get to him.But apparently, they got to him. Carragher owned Ronaldo.’
