Netflix released the
first three episodes of Harry and Megan, a documentary on the relationship of Prince
Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex on Thursday, December 8.
Doria Ragland, mother
of the Duchess made an appearance in the series and described her feelings about
her daughter’s life and the royal family. In her first public comments, she
also talked about how she realized Prince Harry was ‘the one’ for her daughter
and how she regrets not warning Meghan of the racial prejudices she would face.
“We were on the phone and she says, mommy, I’m going out
with Prince Harry and I start whispering, oh my God. And so it was from the
beginning, it was very sort of, oh my God, nobody can know.”, Ragland said.

to go back and have that very real conversation about how the world sees you”. “The
