After considering the popular opinion on whether former President Donald Trump should be reinstated on Twitter, Elon Musk started a poll on Sunday asking netizens’ opinion on whether he should step down as the head of Twitter.
“Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll,” he asked over a poll. Soon after, the phrase, “Vote Yes” started trending on the platform with an overwhelming number of users urging the public to click on the “yes” option in the poll.

Last month Musk reinstated Trump after allowing his Twitter followers and others to vote on whether to reinstate the former president. Nearly 52% of votes – a narrow majority of 15 million voters – were in favor of Trump’s return.
“The people have spoken,” Musk tweeted at the time. “Trump will be reinstated.”
