Florence Pugh is portraying the role of Alice in Olivia Wilde’s upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling. She was also in the limelight because of the huge media coverage and debate surrounding the movie’s problematic production, which included contradicting accounts of Shia LaBeouf’s exit and alleged tensions between Olivia Wilde and her.
In the movie, she plays a contented housewife who eagerly anticipates her husband’s return after sending him off to work for Victory Project. She further develops a curiosity about the nature of her husband’s work on the secret Victory Project. This curiosity by Alice develops tension in the family as well as the community.

Who is Florence Pugh?
Florence Pugh was born on January 3, 1996, in Oxford. She was the youngest of three siblings and their family moved to Spain when Pugh was three years old. As a child, Florence Pugh suffered from tracheomalacia and she was educated privately at Wychwood School and St Edward’s School, Oxford.
Presently Florence Pugh is in a relationship with American actor and filmmaker Zach Braff.
Florence Pugh’s Acting Career
Florence made her acting debut in 2014 in the drama film The Falling. Within two years she earned huge recognition by playing the lead role as a violent young bride in the independent drama Lady Macbeth. In 2018, Florence acted in the miniseries The Little Drummer Girl and earned a nomination in that year for the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
Florence Pugh got her first International breakthrough in 2019 after starring in three films Fighting with My Family, Midsommar and Little Women.

In 2022, she will appear in Olivia Wilde’s film Don’t Worry Darling and in the drama The Wonder which is an adaptation of Emma Donoghue’s novel of the same name.
Apart from acting in films, Florence has also performed cover songs under the name Flossie Rose on YouTube. In 2021 she featured in her brother’s song Midnight. She is also the recipient of the British Independent Film Award and at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, Pugh was awarded the Trophée Chopard.
