CBSE class 12 Term-1 examination: Check important instructions
- The first exam will be held for entrepreneurship, beauty and wellness subjects
- Keeping the winter season in mind, the exam will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
- The final result will be announced after the Term-2 exam
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin class 12 Term-1 examination from November 16, 2021. The first exam will be held for entrepreneurship, beauty and wellness subjects. According to the 2021 date-sheet released by the CBSE, the minor subjects’ exam will be held from November 16 and the major subjects’ exam will be held from December 1.
Keeping the winter season in mind, the exam will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. This year, the CBSE class 12 examination will be held for 114 subjects and for 75 subjects in class 10.

The Term-1 examination will be OMR based and candidates are advised to use blue or black ball point pen to fill their answers in the OMR sheet. And this time the board will provide 20 minutes to read questions instead of 15 minutes.
Candidates who are going to appear for the CBSE class 12 Term-1 exam can check important instructions below:
1. The OMR papers will be distributed to testing centres and schools will be allowed to download OMR papers.
2. For rough work, a separate sheet of paper will be provided to candidates at the exam centre.
3. Students will only be allowed to carry permitted items to the examination centre. All students will be checked before entering the examination centre that they are not carrying any unwanted things.

4. After the Term-1 exam, the result will be announced in the form of marks obtained. No student will be accommodated in the PASS, Compartment and Essential Repeat Category after the Term-1 examination.
5. The final result will be announced after the Term-2 exam.
6. Central schools will not send subject teachers for monitoring and evaluation to ensure integrity in the administration of the examination on the day of the examination.

Recently, the board released the class 12 admit card on its official website and these can be downloaded by candidates from cbse.gov.in.
