Garth Brooks 2023 Las Vegas residency: All you need to know

Garth Brooks, the American country music singer and songwriter announced a new residency at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, which is slated to begin in May 2023.

Named Garth Brooks/Plus ONE, it will be a 27-day residency at the 43000-capacity auditorium in Vegas. The 60-year-old singer made the news public on the show Good Morning America on Monday morning.

He also spoke to the entertainment magazine Billboard about his new project. He also explained the Plus One concept in detail.

“Any given song, all 10 band members will be playing and singing, then none of them will be. Then maybe percussion and background vocals for The River,” he said. “Or [I’m] talking about George Strait and ‘Amarillo by Morning’ and all of a sudden [Jimmy] Mattingly shows up with the fiddle and it’s just [me] and him. Any given night can have any given variation of any given song.”

“The PLUS One is also the fan, because it’s one on one with them,” he added. 

To simplify the Plus One concept, what he means is that his band members will be at each show and he will call them up spontaneously to join him on stage. It could also be a special guest, for instance, his wife Trisha Yearwood.

Those who want to attend the residency in las Vegas may do so by getting a fan ticket registration. It can be done on the Ticketmaster website and will run through November 17, reports say. Once the fans are verified via a code, they will have the opportunity to buy tickets for the show. The tickets will go up for sale on November 21 from 10 am PST. 

Reports say that ticket prices will start from $99 and can go up to $350.
