KBC 14: Dhulichand Aggarwal asks Amitabh Bachchan to return his money

Dulichand Aggarwal is the first contestant of the season. He shared that Amitabh Bachchan owes him money since 1970. This surprised the megastar Amitabh Bachchan and he exchanged seats with him and sat on the hot seat. Dulichand Aggarwal won Rs 50 lakh.

In the most recent advertisement of the show, Big B was seen sitting on the hot seat to answer the questions asked by contestant Dulichand Aggarwal, from Durg, Chattisgarh. 

Dhulichand Aggarwal told Amitabh Bachchan that his pocket got picked when he went to watch his movie Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. He added that the condition of his house was not very good. He went to the theatre to watch the movie with 10 rupees. With 10 rupees he had to buy a movie ticket, eat food and fill the cycle with air. After reaching the ticket window, he realized that someone had hit his pocket.

He mentioned that he swore not to see the film and would take this money from Bachchan sahib. He also said if he will watch the film, he will watch it with Bachchan sahib. Amitabh Bachchan got emotional and replied that if he ever gets a chance he will definitely watch the movie with him. 

During a fun-filled conversation with Amitabh Bachchan, he asked him to call him DC. He said, “During my college days, my friends used to tease me by saying what is this name Dhulichand and then one of my friends told me DC sounds too good on you. So please call me DC.” To which Amitabh Bachchan replied, “Your name is beautiful and definitely you will feel good but to us, it will sound like current, DC and AC.”

KBC 14 started on August 7, 2022. A number of celebrities took the hot seat and played the game. Actor Aamir Khan, sports icon Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri along with Mithali Madhumita, the first female officer to win the Gallantry Award and Major DP Singh, India’s first blade runner appeared on the show as special guests.
