Not just Anushka: Sharmila Tagore was also blamed for Mansoor Ali Khans poor performance

Veteran actor Sharmila Tagore says that it’s not Anushka Sharma but she, too, was blamed for her cricketer husband Mansoor Ali Khan’s bad performance on the field. Anushka is often targeted on social media for her husband Virat Kohli’s poor performance.

In Sharmila Tagore’s case, it wasn’t her fan but her father who blamed her once.

Speaking during a recent live session with Ladies Study Group–a part of the Indian Chambers of Commerce–Sharmila revealed the cheeky comment her father had made at her once. “I think Tiger dropped a catch or something and my father screamed from somewhere else, ‘You shouldn’t have kept him up all night!’ I mean, can you imagine?”

Sharmila Tagore married Mansoor Ali Khan, better known as ‘Tiger’ Pataudi’, in 1969. He was a famous cricket star.
