Fans want Kanye West not Pete Davidson on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin flight
- Pete Davidson backed out of a Blue Origin space flight after a date change
- Fans want Kanye West to go instead
- West has targeted Davidson for dating his ex-wife Kim Kardashian
After Pete Davidson, the ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian, cancelled his upcoming trip on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight, fans have asked for Kanye West, Davidson’s current love rival, as his replacement.
The 28-year-old comedian was slated to take off on the low-orbit flight on March 23, but a change in schedule resulted in Davidson dropping out. The company tweeted about the date change and informed that the sixth spot was now vacant after Davidson backed out. Blue Origin also said they’d be announcing the replacement soon.

Alan Boyle, an editor at Geekwire, posted the story and added the comment if Kanye West is available.
This quickly gained traction with Karla Rodriguez of Complex magazine exclaiming “Get Kanye on the phone!” She also shared a gif of Kanye zooming upwards in a one-manned aeroplane.
Austin Braun of Ascend Engineering also noted that Blue Origin should take Kanye or Ye instead. Meanwhile, Jake Eichstaedt, who works for ABC affiliated WWAY tagged Kanye West and told him to “make it happen”.
The ‘Donda’ singer is yet to respond, but if Davidson had gone, he’d have joined a small group of celebrities who’ve been to space including William Shatner and Michael Strahan.

Currently, West and Davidson are not on great terms since the latter is dating Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s ex-wife. West has repeatedly tried to win her back, sending a truck full of roses while also constantly putting down Davidson. West refers to him as Skete and in some instances threatens violence against Davidson.
However, Julia Fox, the ‘Uncut Gems’ star who Kanye dated briefly after splitting from Kim, believes that he wouldn’t actually hurt anyone. She said “Kanye’s harmless. I just think that’s his artistic creative expression”, and added, “I know it’s aggressive, but I think if it really came down to it, I don’t think Kanye would hurt a fly”, as per TMZ.
