When it comes to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, aside from Kartik and Kiara, Tabu plays an important role. Anees Bazmee is directing the film, which is produced by T Series. It is a prequel to the preceding Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan film, which was released in 2007. The horror-comedy has been one of Kartik’s most anticipated flicks. The film’s earlier poster featured Kartik in a wacky avatar, which piqued the imagination of his admirers. Kartik and Kiara also shot the film amid Manali’s snow-capped slopes.

Bollywood is betting big on horror-comedies, as evidenced by the release of Roohi. The makers of Roohi, also known as Stree, will release Bhediya later this year, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, to complete their horror comic universe. According to industry insiders, this is an attempt to flip the classic horror genre on its head and produce films that are based on folk tales and legends and incorporate local cultural aspects rather than simply having plots centred on supernatural forces.
