Katrina Kaif continues shooting for ‘Merry Christmas’ despite death threats

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif has resumed shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Merry Christmas’ despite receiving death threats allegedly from a struggling actor named Manvinder Singh. The 39-year-old shared some pictures from the sets of the movie on her Instagram handle on Monday and captioned it: “Work in progress #rehearsals #merrychristmas #sriramraghavan @actorvijaysethupathi.” In the photos, Katrina can be seen having discussions with director Sriram Raghavan and co-actor Vijay Sethupathi.

On Monday morning, Vicky Kaushal filed a police complaint stating that a person had threatened him and his wife on Instagram.
Based on the complaint, the Santacruz police registered an FIR against under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking), the official said.

Within hours, a struggling actor named Manvinder Singh was detained in connection with the incident. He reportedly is a big fan of Katrina and also wanted to marry her and that is why, for the last couple of months, he had been constantly troubling her on Instagram. He also posted edited videos and pictures of him with her on his handle.
Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in the presence of close family and friends at The Six Senses Fort Barwara on December 9, 2021.
Sharing the pictures from the wedding, Katrina and Vicky wrote, “Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.”
