Manvinder Singh allegedly threatened  Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif and her husband Vicky Kaushal on a social media platform. The struggling actor has been detained by Mumbai Police. 

Kaushal complained to police that the person had threatened him and his wife on Instagram, an official said.

Based on the complaint, the Santacruz police here have registered an FIR against the unidentified person under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking), the official added.

As per IndiaToday, Manvinder Singh is a struggling actor from Lucknow. He has been a huge fan of Katrina Kaif and calls her ‘his girllfriend/wife’ on social media. 

On Instagram, Singh shared several morphed videos of him and Kaif. An edited post on March 13 this year celebrated ‘his marriage’ with the actor

Vicky Kaushal complained that ‘one person has been threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram’.

No other information is available on Manvinder Singh.

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot in December 2021. 

Kaif is known for her movies like “Tiger Zinda Hai”, “Bharat” and “Zero”.

Kaushal has received acclaim for his roles in films like “Masaan”, “Sanju”, “Raazi” and “Uri: The Surgical Strike”.

Meanwhile, Kaif posted some rehearsal pictures from the sets of her next – ‘Merry Christmas’. The film will star Vijay Sethupathi and is directed by Sriram Raghavan.
