Koo co-founder Mayank Bidawatka wants to hire fired Twitter employees

In the midst of Twitter‘s chaos, the Indian homegrown microblogging platform Koo intends to hire ex-Twitter employees. Mayank Bidawatka, the co-founder of Koo, stated on Twitter that Koo will hire some of Twitter’s ex-employees because they deserve to work somewhere where their talent is valued.
Koo Co-founder Mayank Bidawatka stated on Twitter, “Very sad to see #RIPTwitter and related # to this going down. We will hire some of these Twitter ex-employees as we keep expanding and raise our larger, next round. They deserve to work where their talent is valued. Micro-blogging is about people’s power. Not suppression.”

Mayank Bidawatka, a co-founder of Koo, asserted that he is prepared to hire Twitter workers who have either been fired or who have willingly quit after Musk told them to “go incredibly hardline or leave.”

The CEO of Tesla fired up to 50% of the workers worldwide. Notably, several of the retained Twitter employees left after Musk issued an email with a “ultimatum” demanding that everyone be prepared for Twitter 2.0 and a hardline culture, or leave with three months’ pay. The microblogging platform announced on November 18 that it would be temporarily suspending its headquarters, with effect from November 17. (local time). The most recent order will be in effect till November 21.
Koo has previously declared that it had passed Twitter as the second-largest microblogging network in the globe on November 16. It is important to note that the platform, which made its debut in March 2020, has surpassed 50 million downloads and has experienced growth.

The platform, which was launched in March 2020, recently surpassed 50 million downloads and is on an upward trajectory in terms of growth.
According to the statement, Koo is the only microblog from India that competes with other international microblogging services like Twitter, Gettr, Truth Social, Mastodon, and Parler. Koo is also the second-most popular service among users (behind Twitter) in terms of user downloads.
Koo is available in ten languages and has users from over 100 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, Nigeria, the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Nepal, Iran, and India.
