Want to port your number to Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea or Airtel: Here’s how you can do it online

To get rid of all these issues, you can opt to port your number for a better service provider. Here’s how you can port mobile number online:

Reliance Jio

– First, you will need to download the MyJio app from Google Play store or App store.

– Go to the ‘port’ section in the app

– You will now be given two options. First, get a new Jio SIM keeping the same number, and second get a new Jio number.

– Pick the options, and then select the plan as per you need.

– You will then be asked to confirm your location. The new SIM will be delivered at your doorstep if you opt for it.

Airtel

– Similar to Jio, AirtelThanks app offers the number portability option

– Once you have downloaded the app, visit the ‘port’ tab and confirm the request

– Select the plan and submit your request.

– An Airtel executive will visit on the address provided by you to deliver the new SIM and collect required documents.

Vodafone-Idea

– Get the Vodafone-Idea app. Provide the details such as name, mobile number, city

– Pick the best plan as per your need

– Press the ‘switch to Vodafone’ tab after you are done with providing all the details, including your full address

– The new SIM will be delivered at the address provided
