What led to Twitter permanently suspending Kangana Ranauts account

Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account has been suspended on Tuesday. This comes after the 34-year-old made a series of tweets commenting on the political violence in West Bengal post Assembly elections.

According to the spokesperson of Twitter, the account has been “permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter Rules specifically our hateful conduct policy and abusive behavior policy.”

“We have been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm. We enforce the twitter rule judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service,” the spokesperson further said in a statement.

In her last post, Kangana made some derogatory remarks against Mamata Banerjee and compared her to Ravana along with calling her demon Tadka. She also released a video in which she is seen demanding President’s rule in Bengal.

She has also put out a tweet saying, “This is horrible… we need super gundai to kill gundai… she is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modi ji please show your Virat roop from early 2000’s… #PresidentRuleInBengal.” Several Twitter users called out this tweet for ‘inciting violence’.
