The Indian squad, captained by Rohit Sharma, is currently competing in the T20 World Cup in 2022. Following the tournament, the team will play a limited-overs series in New Zealand. Three T20 Internationals and three ODIs are played by India from November 18 to November 30.

Hardik Pandya will return for his second stint at captaincy after leading India in T20Is to a series win over Ireland. However, this tour will be a much tougher test for the all-rounder, more so by the fact that batting mainstays like KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be rested for the entire tour. On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Men in Blue for ODI leg of the tour. Rishabh Pant will be the vice captain for both the squads.
