American Rapper and Grammy Award winner, 2 Chainz met and clicked photographs with New Orleans Saints’ running back Alvin Kamara before the kickoff between Saints and Arizona Cardinals in Week 7 at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

2 Chainz was the lead star in a commercial for the league prior to the Super Bowl LVI, building up the playoffs for the 2021 NFL season, which saw playing videos of Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, Buffalo Bills’ QB Josh Allen among many others.

The ‘No-Lie’ artist is an avid sports enthusiast. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he is often spotted supporting his favorite team at their games, the Atlanta Hawks of NBA and the Atlanta Falcons in NFL.

RB Kamara has so far played in four out of the six games for his team this season, recording 66 rushing attempts for 302 yards without a TD. His best game of the season came in a 39-32 win against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5. He had 23 carries for 103 yards in that game.

He has been a reliable player for the Saints franchise playing in over 10 games in each of his first five seasons for the team. The former third-round pick was the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first season as he played in all 16 games for the team, recording 728 rushing yards and 826 receiving yards. This made him the first Saints player with a 700/700 season and the 11th 700/800 season by any NFL player.

New Orleans have not had a losing season since drafting the player in 2017. They had a 7-9 season prior to selecting him and have won the NFC South division four out of the five past seasons, winning a total of 56 games.
