Who is Kyle Michael Krawczyk? Man arrested for threatening churchgoers with machete, hurling racial slurs

Deputies allege that Marylander Kyle Michael Krawczyk intimidated churchgoers in Waldorf on Sunday morning, leading to his arrest. He used racial remarks and a machete to threaten churchgoers in Charles County, Maryland.

Who is Kyle Michael Krawczyk?

According to what the Charles County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, Kyle Michael Krawczyk is a 25-year-old man who was arrested for threatening churchgoers who were preparing for a service at a church in Waldorf. Given that some people in the church knew the man, the victims were able to persuade him to leave the church and exit the building, while someone else called 911.

When the authorities arrived, they were directed to a wooded area where the Krawczyk was last seen. The accused allegedly fled when deputies confronted him, but he ultimately cooperated and was brought into custody.

Among other counts, he is accused of reckless endangerment, racial-religious offenses against a group, and first-degree assault.

Officers were called to a church in the 5100 block of Leonardtown Road in Waldorf on April 16 at 9:13 a.m. for a complaint of a man threatening parishioners while brandishing a machete. He was allegedly detained with an 18-inch blade strapped across his chest, according to the sheriff’s office.

As officers carry out their investigation, Krawczyk is being held without bond at this time.
