Wilmington shooting: Multiple injured in Anaheim Street, Lagoon Avenue in ‘related’ incidents

At least three people were injured in a shooting in the 800 block of North Lagoon Avenue, Wilmington on Tuesday.
A 20-year-old man and woman, and a 45-year-old woman were hospitalized. The third victim was found later.
It was not immediately clear what led to the gunfire at about 2 PM. No arrests were reported.
The Los Angeles Police Department, in a press release, said that they received calls for a shooting in the 800 block of North Lagoon Avenue. The location is about a mile from the Los Angeles Harbor College.

“When officers arrived on the scene they discovered three people who’d suffered gunshot wounds — a 20-year-old woman, a 20-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman. All three people were transferred to the hospital in “moderate” condition according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.”
LAPD Officer Tony Im., as per ktla.com, said that at 2:18 PM, a woman reported that her son had been shot in the foot on Anaheim Street. The lane intersects with the Lagoon Avenue.

Police later confirmed that both incidents were related.
An employee at a nearby auto shop told NBCLA he heard 10 to 12 gunshots.
Meanwhile, the Daytona Beach Police Department detained a 37-year-old man, Chad Keene, for shooting his girlfriend Karli Elliott, 30, at Daytona beach on Tuesday.
The police said that the shooting happened at 11:56 AM near Glenview Boulevard. Elliott was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

Police Chief Jakari Young was quoted by wesh.com saying that Karli Elliott and her ex-boyfriend got into an argument at a 7-Eleven. The two went in separate directions when Elliott called Keene.
Elliott walked around the corner at Glenview Boulevard and Keene shot her on accident, intending to shoot the ex-boyfriend.
