Late basketball star Kobe Bryant‘s wife
Vanessa Bryant is on a vacation. She took this opportunity to pay tribute to
late daughter Gianna, who had died last year with Kobe in a helicopter crash.

Vanessa, 39, has been posting photos as she
visited various European destinations with daughters Natalia, 18, Bianka, 4,
and Capri, 2, throughout the week.

In a post shared on Friday, she shared
side-by-side shots that showed a young Natalia and Gianna on the Italian island
of Capri alongside a current shot of Bianka and Capri sitting on the same
bench.

“Missing my baby girl, Gigi. My
#2. Mambacita,” she captioned the post.

Gianna had died at the age of 13 with Kobe
Bryant and seven others in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26, 2020.

The helicopter’s pilot Ara Zobayan, Kobe,
Gigi, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton
Chester and Christina Mauser were the people who died in the crash. All of
them were on their way to a youth basketball game at Kobe’s Mamba Academy in
Thousand Oaks when the helicopter crashed into a mountain.

Vanessa shared her grief of losing her husband
and daughter in an interview with “PEOPLE for the Women Changing the
World” in March.

“I cannot say that I am strong every day.
I cannot say that there are not days when I feel like I cannot survive to the
next. This pain is unimaginable. You just have to get up and push forward.
Lying in bed crying is not going to change the fact that my family will never
be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make
the day better for my girls and for me. So that is what I do,” she had
said.
