Xavier Musk, the child of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, has decided to cut ties with her father. According to a report by TMZ on Tuesday, the 18-year-old filed several legal documents in order to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson and declare her trans identity.
The documents filed by her in L.A. County have revealed the reason behind the name change.
“Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” she stated in the legal petition.

Who is Xavier Musk?
Xavier Musk was born in the United States on April 15, 2004, to Elon Musk and Justine Wilson, who got divorced in 2008. She was born through IVF (In vitro fertilization) along with her twin brother Griffin.
Xavier has often made appearances on her father’s social media handles. In 2018, she was featured in Forbes magazine with her siblings.

Her mother, Justine Wilson, is a renowned Canadian author who was born in Peterborough, Ontario. She married Elon Musk in 2000. Two years later, she gave birth to Nevada Alexander, who died at the age of 10 weeks due to sudden infant death syndrome. In 2004, she gave birth to Xavier and Griffin. In 2006, she welcomed triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai.
Musk and Wilson got divorced in 2008. The duo share custody of their five children.

Xavier is the great-grandchild of Walter Henry James Musk, Cora Amelia Robinson. Her paternal grandparents are Errol Musk and Maye Musk.
