Sensex rallied 503.27 points or 0.94% to 54,252.53 and
Nifty was up by 144.35 points or 0.90% to 16,170.15 in the previous session.

Sensex touched a high and low of 54,346.22 and 53,425.25,
respectively. There were 23 stocks advancing against 7 stocks declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,204.45 and 15,903.70. There
were 37 stocks advancing against 13 stocks declining on the index.

The top gainers on the Sensex were NTPC up by 3.84%,
Kotak Mahindra Bank up by 1.42%, Bharti Airtel up by 1.41%, HDFC up by 1.35% and
Nestle up by 1.02%. On the other hand, Asian Paints down by 8.04%, TCS down by
3.69%, Tech Mahindra down by 3.53%, Wipro down by 3.30% and Larsen & Toubro
down by 3.09% were the top losers.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Tata Steel up by
5.27%, SBI up by 3.26%, HDFC Bank up by 2.96%, Axis Bank up by 2.82% and HDFC
up by 2.28%. On the other hand, ITC down by 2.13%, Sun Pharma down by 1.16%,
Reliance Industries down by 0.91%, Hindustan Unilever down by 0.83% and Larsen
& Toubro down by 0.67% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Tata Steel up by 5.29%, JSW
Steel up by 4.40%, Apollo Hospital Ent. up by 3.93%, SBI up by 3.26% and HDFC
Bank up by 2.85%. On the other hand, ITC down by 2.20%, UPL down by 2.17%,
Divi’s Lab down by 2.01%, Sun Pharma down by 1.23% and Reliance Industries down
by 0.95% were the top losers.

upper price band while 63MOONS, A2ZINFRA, AGROPHOS, AJRINFRA and AKASH hit the lower
price band. There were 50 securities that hit the upper band while 201 hit the
lower band on May 26, 2022.
