US President Donald Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden faced off on Tuesday night at Cleveland, Ohio, for the first presidential debate and snapped at each other quite a lot.

However, one of the most noticeable moments was when Biden told the president to “shut up” that devolved the debate into a full-on shouting match.

As pretty much anyone could have predicted, his statement was soon trending on the microblogging site Twitter and people were reacting to it in hilarious ways.

Some said that Biden was speaking for the world, others said that they want the line printed on a T-shirt (which didn’t take long!).

“Biden’s “Will you shut up, man?” has got to be my most favorite line ever!” a Twitterati wrote.

Some other reactions:

The two presidential candidates will hold two more debates before the November 3 election. On October 15, a second presidential debate will be held in Miami after getting shifted from the University of Michigan. The third one will take place in Nashville on October 22.
