The movie 365 Days and its sequel 365 Days: This Day showed a layered and dynamic relationship between Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) and Massimo (Michelle Moronne). In the first movie, 365 Days, Massimo was shown to be a very aggressive, toxic and vindictive guy. From the start, Massimo, a gangster, tried to establish his control over Laura, first by kidnapping her and then giving her 365 days to fall in love with him.

Laura, initially, is shown as a confident girl who asserts that she would not be falling in love with him. Massimo had been obsessed with her for 5 years before kidnapping her. Though he had promised her that he would not touch her without her consent, he had been physically aggressive towards her. Gradually, Laura falls in love with him.
