A Florida-bound private aircraft crashed in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday, killing all nine people on board.
The HI1050 aircraft type Gulstream GIV SP, carrying 2 crew members and 7 passengers, took off from La Isabela International Airport in the Dominican Republic on Wednesday.

The flight, that was heading to Miami, encountered problems and crashed while making an emergency landing at Las Americas Airport in Santo Domingo.
“We hereby inform you that today, the HI1050 aircraft with 2 crew members and 7 passengers, had an accident at Las Américas International Airport,” Helidosa said in a brief statement on Wednesday.
“For Helidosa, this accident causes us great pain and sorrow. We stand in solidarity with the affected families that, along with us, are going through a difficult time,” the statement added.

According to reports, 38-year-old Puerto Rican music producer Flow La Movie, his partner Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia, and his son, Jayden Hernandez, were among the passengers who died in the crash.
