American comedian and Hollywood actor Adam Sandler responded to a viral video that captured the moment he was denied a table at a Long Island IHOP, a chain of restaurants. Netizens praised him for his positive demeanor for his response after he along with his daughter were told by a teenage employee from the restaurant that they would have to wait for a long time, prompting the actor to leave.

The teenage employee shared the encounter in a video on TikTok and told how embarrassed she was that she could not recognize the Hollywood star. Sandler was silent about the viral video until Monday when he took to Twitter to break the silence over it while showing his funny side. He tweeted, “For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes”, said Sandler.

The “nice woman” Sandler was referring to was Dayanna Rodas who posted security footage from the IHOP chain showing the incident. In the video, she made herself look like a clown using the filter on TikTok. In a follow-up post, she revealed that Sandler at the time had a large beard, implying that that was the reason she could not recognize him at the time.
