The highly awaited Brit Awards 2021 concluded on a high note as fans were left satisfied with the outcomes, according to multiple users on Twitter. ‘Love Again’ fame singer Dua Lipa, who also added glam to the O2 arena in London with her performance, was the only artist who bagged a double award at the Tuesday event.

British Male Solo
The award category had a total of five nominations which included stars like AJ Tracey, Youngblud, Joel Corry, J Hus and Headie One. J Hus managed to leap over the other nominees to secure the award himself.
British Female Solo
Dua Lipa bagged the Brit Award in this category beating prominent names like Jessie Ware, Arlo Parks, Lianne La Havas and Celeste. Before being handed the award, Lipa performed on a set of her most cherished songs like ‘Dont Start Now’, ‘Hallucinate’, ‘Love Again’ and ‘Pretty Please’. She also bagged the award for her album ‘Future Nostalgia’ in the ‘Album of the year category’.
International Female Solo Artist
In what looked like the most competitive pool of nominees at the awards, which included artists like Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus, the award was given to the youngest nominee Billie Eilish, who is just 19 years old.
International Male Solo Artist
‘Starboy’ fame The Weeknd took home the Brit Award for his nomination in the category and was given tough competition by fellow musicians like Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Tame Impala and Bruce Springsteen.
The star-studded event also gave out awards in categories like Breakthrough Artist (Arlo Parks), British Single (‘Watermelon Sugar’ by Harry Styles), Rising Star (Griff), British Group (Little Mix) and International Group (HAIM).
