South Korean actor Kim Seon Ho is said to continue as the main cast of the upcoming film ‘Sad Tropics’. He was previously removed from the film after his ex-girlfriend accused him of gaslighting and forced abortion.

Kim Seon Ho has now  been considered for the film after a series of discussions by the production team, reports Star News.

“After much consideration, we have decided to proceed with filming starting this year with Kim Seon Ho,” said the production house. It is said that the production house will kickstart the film shoot with Kim Seon Ho due to the lack of a suitable alternative to replace the actor.

The team was also in talks to further delay the shooting schedule till next year, but, later decided to move ahead with the production due to several time-bound reasons.

Although the team is now gearing up to film, Kim Seon Ho is yet to confirm if he is well enough to resume work anytime soon. He last appeared in tvN’s ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.’

On the other hand, the actor’s unnamed ex-girlfriend has announced legal action, alleging personal attacks, threat to life and also invasion of privacy ever since she has opened up about the well-known actor.

The unnamed ex-girlfriend has accused the actor of gas-lighting, emotional abuse and coercing her to have an abortion. She has also claimed that the actor’s fans have released her personal information on the internet without consent and sent it viral.

“On a number of news sites, social media, and online communities, the ex-girlfriend’s identity and personal information have currently been made public without consent. False facts and malicious comments have also been posted. The threats to her personal safety have also not ceased. She’s currently experiencing mental distress to the point it’s difficult for her to go about her daily life. As she’s an ordinary citizen, we ask for the slander and speculation to stop as to prevent further harm against her. Please refrain from interview requests as well,” her legal representative said in a statement.
