Indian cricketer KL Rahul shared a picture of himself and actor Athiya Shetty on Instagram. Wishing his romantic partner on Valentine’s Day, the 29-year-old cricketer wrote, “Happy (red heart emoji) day.”
The picture displays the duo in a lush green setting, sporting casual white outfits. Athiya is seen in an oversized full-sleeved top with her hair slipped back in a ponytail. The actor is seen carrying a sling bag in the picture. KL Rahul is seen wearing a plain white t-shirt with a baseball cap on the head, and a pair of sunglasses resting on his t-shirt.
Uploaded four hours ago, the mirror selfie has garnered over 860,000 likes and more than 4,600 comments. The ‘Hero’ actor reacted to the post with a red heart emoji. Actor Akansha Ranjan Kapoor wrote, “Oh my my my what am I seeing?? Evil and Knievel (smiley emoji face with horns and a purple heart emoji).”
Veteran actor Jackie Shroff’s daughter Krishna Shroff dropped some heart emojis under the post.
The picture is said to be from last year when the duo had visited the United Kingdom, where Team India played two tournaments. The cricketer had posted a picture of the two wearing the same outfits last year.

Athiya Shetty is the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty and his wife Mana Shetty. The 29-year-old has a brother, actor Ahan Shetty. After a bunch of rumours regarding Ahan and Athiya getting hitched to their respective partners spiraled on the internet, Suniel said on Twitter, “Unsure whether to be pained or amused. Can’t understand the need to ‘scoop’ before verifying any facts at all. This type of irresponsible reportage is what dents the credibility of journalism.”
