Pop icon Madonna’s highly anticipated “Celebration” tour has been postponed after she developed a serious bacterial infection that required intensive care treatment.

Her manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed the news on Instagram, stating that while her health is improving, Madonna is still under medical care.

Madonna’s manager announced the postponement of the “Celebration” tour, which was set to commence in Vancouver on July 15. The decision was made after Madonna’s hospitalization due to a severe bacterial infection. She spent several days in the ICU but is expected to make a full recovery. The tour will be put on hold until further notice.

The “Celebration” tour was planned as a grand 40th-anniversary celebration for Madonna, spanning 43 cities worldwide and lasting until early 2024. The tour included stops in major cities across North America and Europe, captivating fans with 84 anticipated shows.
