American singer and songwriter Taylor Swift on Sunday became the first woman and 4th artist to win the Grammys for album of the year three times. She is now tied with Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra and Paul Simon.
On Sunday, Swift won the award for ‘Folklore’. The other contenders were Dua Lipa’s ‘Future Nostalgia’, Post Malone’s ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ and Coldplay’s ‘Everyday Life’.
Taylor Swift won the award for the first time in the category in 2010 with ‘Fearless’. Six years later, she bagged the honour again for ‘1989’.
With Sunday’s win, Swift has taken home a total of 11 Grammys.
