Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan may not have officially announced a new project after the commercial flop of his last movie Zero, but on Saturday the actor assured his fans that they will get to see him on the big screen this year.
Extending New Year’s wishes to his fans, King Khan shared a 3 minute and 15-second long video on his Instagram and Twitter account and said he is looking forward to entertaining the audience in cinema halls.
“See you all on the big screen in 2021,” Shah Rukh Khan said in the video, sans divulging details about the same.
“Hi everybody, it is that time of the year again where the old year is on its way out and the New Year is waiting at the entrance,” Khan said in the video.
“Actually, it has entered because I am late in conveying my wishes to all of you,” he quipped.
Talking about what we all learned from 2020, SRK says, “Real fun is with real people — your family, your friends, your loved ones. All the friends and enemies you make virtually, taking sides or fighting against you online, is good fun, time pass, but it’s not for keeps.”
He then wished his fans “happiness, joy, and peace”.
He also had a request for his fans and asked them not to send him long messages as they all mean the same thing. “Just send me a ‘Wish you a Happy New Year’ message please.”
According to reports, the star is in talks with Rajkumar Hirani for a social comedy, South filmmaker Atlee for a potboiler, and Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar and director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of The Family Man fame for separate films.
