An Instagram model named Sumner Stroh has claimed that ‘Maroon 5’ frontman Adam Levine had an affair with her. In a TikTok video, which received over two millions views in less than three hours, Stroh alleged that the 43-year-old singer “manipulated” her into having an affair. She also claimed that in June 2022, after several months of not being in touch, her messaged her on Instagram asking if he and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, can name their forthcoming baby after her. Stroh, however, did not reveal when she and Levine were involved in a relationship.
“I was having an affair with who is married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, you know, I was young, I was naive, and, I mean, quite frankly I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated,” she claimed in the video.
Showing screenshots of the alleged messages she received from the singer, she said, “Maroon 5 is practically elevator music at this point. So, I’m sure you know who Adam Levine is. Adam and I were seeing each other for about a year. After I stopped talking to him over a period of months, this is how he came back into my life.”
One of the messages allegedly sent to her said, “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s w boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious.”
Stroh concluded by saying, “My morals were unknowingly compromised. … I was going to handle this privately, I never wanted to come forward, because obviously I understand the implications that come with doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model. So being tagged in a story like this, I know the stereotypes.”
Stroh added, “I had sent some screenshots recklessly to some friends I thought I trusted and one of them had attempted to sell to a tabloid. So here I am.”
