Will Smith seems to have buried himself in the celebrations after causing a commotion by slapping presenter Chris Rock during the ceremony, as he had a fantastic time at the after-party. Videos show him posing for photos, swaying and singing along to music on the dance floor while holding his Oscar trophy in one hand.

According to Variety, when the DJ played a medley of Will Smith’s 1990s hit tunes, the actor sang along to Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It and Miami while dancing on the dance floor and swinging his gold statue in the air. When asked how he was, he replied to the gateway, “It’s all about love.” Several other celebrities, including Ricky Martin, Trevor Noah, Cynthia Erivo, and Tony Goldwyn, joined him in congratulating him on his victory.

Will Smith earned his first Academy Award for best actor for his performance in the film King Richard as the father of tennis champions Venus and Serena Williams. He slapped presenter Chris Rock on stage minutes before collecting his prize for making fun of his wife Jada. The whole thing started when comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Jada’s bald head. Smith went up on stage and slapped the comic when he claimed he couldn’t wait to watch Jada Pinkett Smith, who has alopecia, feature in G.I. Jane 2. Will sat back down and said, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fu**ing mouth!”
