The Lunar New Year began on February 12 and this is
the Year of the Ox. According to Chinese astrology, there are 12 zodiac signs,
different from the usual ones that represent years and the five elements of
nature – wood, fire, earth, metal and water. As per the horoscope, the animal
ruling an individual’s birth year greatly influences his/her personality and
destiny. The same Chinese animal sign and element combinations occur only once
every 60 years.

Here are the 12 Chinese zodiac signs:

1.   
Rat

People born in the year 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 and 2020 belong to the zodiac sign ‘Rat.’ The Rat knows his way around people, charming
and very social. They are brimming with creativity and intellect. They are very
sharp, picking on small details and take hold of situations quickly. They are opportunistic
people which makes them overstep their boundaries at times. 

2.   
Ox

People born in the year 1949, 1961 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 and 2021 belong to the zodiac sign ‘Ox.’ The Ox are independent people who enjoy working
alone. They put in a lot of effort. Some of them can be loners, enjoying their
own company. They do not cherish social gatherings. The Ox rely on morals and
values to make decisions. Their privacy means everything to them.

Tiger

People born in the year 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 and 2022 belong to the zodiac ‘Tiger.’ The Tigers are very fond of their freedom and
