A day after Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut’s Pali Hill office
was demolished by BMC officials in Mumbai, actor’s mother Asha Ranaut on
Thursday condemned the act and said that she was happy that the entire country
was standing with her daughter.
Speaking to ANI, Asha Ranaut said, “What Maharashtra government did
is condemnable. I condemn that in harshest of words,” she said. “I am happy
that the entire India is standing with my daughter and people’s blessings are
with her. I am proud of her. She always stood by the truth and will continue
doing that,” she added.

She further thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for providing
the actor with Y plus security, amid threats from the Maharashtra government. “I thank Amit Shah for providing her security, had
she not been given security, nobody knows what would have happened to her,” she said.

Kangana’s mother’s remarks came amid tensions between
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut and Maharashtra government.
The 33-year-old is the first Bollywood actor to receive CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) security cover.
