The internet can be a hilarious place when it is not a haven for trolls. It doesn’t take a lot for moments to become memes on the internet. However, the best jokes remain centred around Valentine’s Day – the day of love mocked by singles. A parody advertisement of the Pfizer vaccine guides lovers to the perfect gift they can give to their Valentine this year.
The advertisement has been going viral so much so that it also caught the attention of Anand Mahindra, who shared the post from his account tagging Adar Poonawalla, the CEO of Serum, which is manufacturing Covishield vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University. In his post, Mahindra, tagging Poonawalla said that this was a ‘readymade advertising brief’.

The advertisement shows how the best gift for your valentine this year is not a ring but a Pfizer vaccine, that is available nowhere. The jibe is hinted at the constant delay in distribution of the vaccine due to various logistical issues.
The ad that first appeared on the late-night American talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, has since then gone viral. It takes a hilarious dig at the eager world anticipating the arrival of vaccines so that they can throw caution to the wind again and live freely, without masks.
The advertisement was also praised by actor Nafisa Ali Sodhi, who shared the ad from her Instagram handle.
