The England side was battered in the second Test that concluded in the
MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday, as following a sky-high total
of 482 in the Chepauk track, the England side collapsed. Except Joe Root, no
England batsman succeeded in surviving more than 90 balls.
Ultimately getting swept at a total of 164, the visitors lost the match
by a big, 317-run margin as India drew the score 1-1.
The track turned out particularly to be assisting spinners, and proving
to be a difficulty for batsmen.
