Emma Watson, 30, last seen in the critically acclaimed “Little Women” could be taking a break from the silver screen as per media reports. 

The actor’s agents told Daily Mail that the actor won’t be taking new projects in the near future and that her acting career has been “dormant”.

The problems seem to have arisen after her movie, Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of “Little Women”. According to previous reports, Watson had declined to join the press tour for the movie along with her cast-Meryl Streep, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, Lauren Dern and Saoirse Ronan. 

Watson agreed only to attend the premiere. Reasons for the alleged fallout is not known.

Emma Watson has been dating rumoured fiance Leo Robinton since 2019 and could be looking forward to spending more quality time with him. 

Even though the news hasn’t been confirmed yet, Twitter users are already reacting and expressing their sadness. Having risen to fame from her most loved role as Hermione Granger in the Jk Rowling series, Harry Potter, many look up to Watson as their childhood icon. 

Emma Watson has been seen in movies like “Beauty and the Beast”, “My Week with Marilyn”, and “Perks of Being a Wallflower”. 

While confirmation is still awaited on Emma’s retirement, Twitter users have already started paying her tributes.
