India celebrated its 73rd Republic Day on January 26, 2022 and the events to mark the historic day were not limited to New Delhi, the national capital.

Multiple states across the country had their own Republic Day parades and celebrations on Wednesday. These included Telangana, Assam among others.

The celebrations in New Delhi, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind were also present, saw a grand parade on the Rajpath. The skies were not left empty as the Indian Air Force stepped up its game and featured 75 aircraft that echoed all over the national capital.
