India slammed Pakistan for its
dual standards on terrorism in its Right To Reply speech during the 76th
session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Monday (local
time). The Indian diplomat said Pakistan‘s representative talks about peace in
the international forums while the country leader Imran Khan glorifies global
terrorists like Osama-Bin-Laden by calling them ‘martyrs,’ reported ANI.

“As
the epicentre of global terrorism, Pakistan has repeatedly indulged in
cross-border terrorism against its neighbours, with no regard for UN
principles,” Counsellor in India’s Permanent Mission to the UN, A Amarnath
said at the UN.

The
diplomat also addressed Pakistan’s constant and ongoing rants about Jammu and
Kashmir issues calling it an internal matter.

“Pakistan
has made a number of unsubstantiated allegations against India including in
relation to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. These do not merit a response as they
pertain to matters internal to India,” he said.

The
diplomat further clarified that the territory of Jammu and Kashmir will also be
an inseparable part of India, including the illegally Pakistan occupied
Kashmir.

“Let
me reiterate here that the entire territory of Jammu and Kashmir, was, is and
always will be an integral and inalienable part of India. This includes the
area that is under illegal occupation of Pakistan,” he added.

The
official also called for an immediate release of the Kashmir region that has
been illegally occupied by Pakistan for years.

However, this is not the first time during this General Assembly session that India gave a befitting response to Pakistan’s Kashmir related rants and terrorism sympathies.

Earlier, India’s young diplomat, Sneha Dubey made headlines after she delivered a befitting retort to Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in the UN General Assembly after he, once again, brought up the controversial Kashmir issue in his address

“We exercise our Right of Reply to one more attempt by the leader of Pakistan to tarnish the image of this august Forum by bringing in matters internal to my country, and going so far as to spew falsehoods on the world stage,” Dubey said in the UN General Assembly.
