Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has made a new friend during the nets sessions ahead of the third Test against England at Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium – a drone camera he calls “spidey”.

Taking to Instagram, Pant shared a video of him “taking in a new view” of the nets and introduced fans to his new friend “spidey”.
During the fourth Test against Australia at Brisbane’s Gabba earlier this year, the stump mic caught Pant singing a Hindi version of the “Spiderman, Spiderman” theme song. Looks like the 23-year-old really has a thing for New York City’s web-slinging crime-fighter.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also shared a video of Pant having fun with the drone along with his teammates, with the caption “Pulls off brilliant catches & stumpings. Hits big sixes with ease. @RishabhPant17 now has some fun with the drone camera.”
Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium, which is the world’s biggest stadium with a seating capacity of 110,000, will host the third and fourth India-England Tests, starting on February 24 and March 4 respectively.

The four-match series is currently level at 1-1, after India bounced back from a 227-run defeat in the first Test to script a memorable win in the second encounter. Both matches were hosted at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.
