Dadra and Nagar Haveli MP Mohan Delkar was found dead at a hotel in South Mumbai on Monday. He is believed to have died by suicide and his body has been sent for postmortem, ANI reported. 

Delkar was reportedly found dead in Hotel Sea Green on Marine Drive. Investigation was ongoing and police have reportedly recovered a suicide note from the hotel room where he was staying in. The note was in Gujarati. 

Delkar, 58, was an independent MP was survived by his wife Kalaben Delkar and two children.
