Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi on Sunday welcomed their second child, a baby boy. The couple have a daughter named Mehr, who was born in 2018.
“The almighty today blessed us with a baby boy. Both neha and the baby are well. Mehr is ready to pass on the “baby” title to the new arrival. #Bedisboy is here!!!!! Waheguru mehr kare. Neha Dhupia thank you for being such a warrior through this journey. Lets make it a memorable one for all 4 of us now,” Angad Bedi posted on Instagram along with a photo from Neha’s maternity shoot.
The comments section of the post was filled with congratulatory messages.
“Huge huge congrats you guys. Can’t wait to meet baby Bedi,” Sophie Choudry commented.
“Yayyyy!!! Welcome to our wonderful world BabyBedi. We can’t wait to meet you!” Dia Mirza wrote.
“Wah wah … lakh lakh badhaiyan… wishing mom and baby love and good health…” director Shashank Khaitan commented.
The couple had tied the knot in May 2018 in a private ceremony. Neha announced that she was pregnant with their second child in a beautiful Instagram post on July 19.
“Took us two days to come with a caption… The best one we could think of was… Thank you, God,” Dhupia, 40, wrote on Instagram at the time, along with a photo with her husband and daughter.
Neha, on several occasions, talked about her struggles during her second pregnancy. She shared that she suffered from extreme morning sickness during her second pregnancy.
“If there’s a day I wake up without morning sickness, I am just like is there something wrong because morning sickness makes me feel like okay I’m pregnant,” she said in an interview with The Quint.
She also said that her pregnancy became even more difficult when her husband tested positive for COVID.
“Hard is an understatement. It was a lot that we went through. It’s always hard when someone around you gets Covid-19, and harder when you’re pregnant, but Angad was the one who helped me stay positive in that period,” she said.
