Actor Rhea Chakraborty, who landed in a massive controversy after her partner and actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death, dropped a video of herself on Instagram spending time in an animal shelter. In the video, Rhea can be seen distributing animal food and cuddling with the puppies.

“Had the most heartwarming morning with these beautiful puppies,” Rhea wrote alongside the post.
The ‘Jalebi’ actor also urged social media users to come forward and help the animals in whatever way possible. She also requested people to adopt pets.
“Some of these beautiful pups are up for adoption too and need a home. Hope we can show them some kindness,” Rhea wrote.
Rhea Chakraborty, who was dating late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was subjected to a brutal media trial and humiliation after her boyfriend’s death. A large portion of social media users blamed Rhea for Sushant’s death and even labeled her a ‘witch’ claiming that she performed black magic on the actor.
After Sushant’s death, his father also registered an FIR against Rhea, accusing her of abetment to suicide. The SSR death case made headlines for two months and at present, three national agencies, including CBI, NCB and Ed, are investigating the case.
Rhea and her brother were arrested in drugs case related to the actor’s death. She was released on bail after 21 days. Actors, including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet and Shraddha Kapoor, were also questioned by NCB in the drugs case.
Rhea was on social media hiatus for months after getting arrested in the drug case. After a 34 week break, the actor posted a tribute to her mother on Women’s Day.
Recently, Rhea posted an emotional note for his late partner Sushant Singh Rajput oj his death anniversary. In the post, Rhea talked about her feelings post his death and how she wasn’t able to cope with the loss.
She posted a photo with Sushant and wrote, “There isn’t a moment where I believe that you aren’t here anymore. They said that time heals everything but you were my time and my everything. I know that you are my guardian angel now -watching me with your telescope from the moon and protecting me. I wait for you everyday to come pick me up, I look for you everywhere – I know you’re here with me ❤️ It breaks me everyday, then I think of you saying –“ you’ve got this bebu” and I carry on to the next day.”
Sushant Singh Rajput, a Bollywood actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020.
