Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson kept his promise and gifted a new bat to his teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal ahead of the team’s match against Delhi Capitals at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old had promised his young opener that he would get him a bat after their team defeated Punjab Kings by six wickets last week.
“Don’t worry. It’s a gift from your elder brother. A gift from your chetta,” Samson had told Jaiswal, while addressing as ‘Chetta’ (big brother in Malayalam).
