National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the UGC NET 2020 Application Correction Window on the official website where candidates who wish to change their examination centers can do so.
NTA will be releasing the UGC NET 2020 admit cards once the correction window closes for the exams, which are scheduled to be conducted on September 16-18 and September 21-25.
According to NTA, candidates who have already sent e-mails to it will also need to make corrections through the official website and that no correction would be accepted through e-mail under any circumstances.
In an official release on the extension of UGC-CSIR NET deadline, NTA said, “In view of the representation received from many students who have not filled application form due to the changed circumstances arising out of COVID-19 and request received from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), NTA has decided to reopen the portal again for few weeks. This is also applicable to other students who have not been able to complete the application or submit the application form for CSIR- UGC NET June 2020 due to one reason or another.”
The UGC NET is held to determine the eligibility of the candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) at various universities and colleges recognised by UGC. Candidates can choose to appear from the list of 81 subjects provided in the exams.
