Film actor Bramhaswaroop Mishra was reportedly found dead in his home on Thursday. The actor’s semi-decomposed body was reportedly found at this Versova apartment and sent for an autopsy.
The actor reportedly complained of chest pain on November 29 and visited a doctor, who gave him some gas medicine and sent him back home. On Thursday, police arrived at the scene after neighbours complained of a foul smell. The cops found the home locked from inside and called a locksmith was called to make a duplicate key. After entering the residence, they found the body in a semi-decomposed state in the bathroom.

Who was Bramhaswaroop Mishra?
Bramhaswaroop Mishra is best known for playing the character of Lalit in the hit web series ‘Mirzapur’. Lalit was Munna Bhaiya’s (played by Divyendu Sharma) right-hand man in the series. Mishra has also done roles in films such as Manjhi: The Mountain Man, Kesari, Super 30 and Aadmi Ki Aurat Aur Anya Kahaniya.
Excel Entertainment, which bankrolled Mirzapur, shared the sad news on social media on Thursday.
“We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #BramhswaroopMishra. Our condolences are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace,” the post said.

Following his death, several of the actor’s co-stars and friends paid tributes.
“RIP Brahma Mishra. Our Lalit is no more. Let’s pray for him everyone,” Divyenndu Sharma wrote on Instagram
Ali Fazal, who co-starred with him on the web show, wrote, “Hearts broken today, yet again. Brahma, take care saathi… RIP.”
Actor Vijay Varma shared a post about Mishra’s death on his Instagram story, writing, “No.”
Gurmmeet Singh, who co-directed the web show, wrote, “He brought a smile to a million faces. He will be missed. RIP Bramha Mishra.”
