Miss Mexico Andrea Meza has been crowned Miss Universe for the year 2020, beating more than 70 contestants, including Miss India Adline Castelino. The beauty queens gathered at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, for the 69th Miss Universe pageant on Sunday.

Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa crowned her successor.

The preliminary competition was judged by eight women members of the selection committee – Arden Cho, Zuleyka Rivera, Sheryl Adkins – Green, Deepica Mutyala, Keltie Knight, Brook Lee, Christine Duffy, and Tatyana Orozco. The event was hosted by reigning queen, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow.
