The Charlotte Hornets on Thursday went down to reigning champions LA Lakers 116-105. But the 19-year-old LaMelo Ball made his mark even in the loss. The Hornets point guard scored 26 points in the game.
He already averages 19.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists in the games that he has started in the NBA. Ball has also scored 43% of his three pointers and is a frontrunner to win the rookie of the year award.
But the rookie’s father, LaVar is not satisfied. He said that it will be the biggest thing in NBA when all three brothers get on the same team. “Everybody is shocked on what Melo is doing now and here’s the thing: When all three of them get on the same team it’s going to be the biggest thing in the NBA,” LaVar told Los Angeles Times in an interview.
